Please PLEASE be safe and take care of each other because it is going to be essential for you to be checking in with one another mentally, emotionally, and spiritually throughout the entirety of this trip. I know that Africa can be a lot to handle all in one large chunk. Blake, I love your heart for ministry and the way that you love people genuinely. Dani, I have really enjoyed getting to know you this year and seeing the ways that God has gifted you in caring for people physically and relationally. thank you for sharing your gifts with the rest of the world. you are both amazing.
In Grace and Peace,
BP

Blake, I can't believe you are in S. AFrica!!! Wow. I will be praying. Let me know what you are doing and where you will be. It would be neat if you two could visit our Two Tunics work outside of Durban in an Area called Port Shepstone.
Peace, Kent

We know God will bless this time in Africa. What an opportunity for you both. We pray God's light will shine through you as you minister to the precious people in Africa. Remember you are being bathed in prayer.
Love you lots!

Hi Blake and Danielle-

We each have an obligation to be still and listen....obviously after prayerful consideration you have each found a calling for this ministry trip.

May you keep His will at the center of your journey. As God uses each of you during this experience, may you each grow individually to strengthen your purpose as ONE in the future.

The world is small! May your time there reflect how BIG we can each be in touching others through His love.

In pray daily for your journey-
Barb Thompson and kiddos :)

In the midst of the suffering we can still see your hopeful spirit shining through. How important for these precious people to be able to feel God's care and compassion in the midst of their suffering. I am proud of you both that you wished to go to Africa for your graduation. This time will impact the rest of your lives. Dad and I look forward to taking a missions trip in the future with you. It's on my (mom's) bucket list! Love you lots, thanks for the update.
Love, mom and dad

Hi Blakey & Dani- Thank you for sharing so much on your blog. It must be so hard for you to leave those suffering children in the orphanage. I cant imagine how sad that must be. It sounds like an amazing experience that you are sharing. We are so glad you have this opportunity. We miss & love you so much. Safe travles and God Bless!
